Subclass 191 - Regional Provisional Stream

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • You must hold an eligible visa for at least 3 years before applying for the subclass 191:

    • Subclass 491 or​

    • Subclass 494

  • You must provide notices of assessment issued by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) for three income years while holding the eligible visa

  • You must have complied with the conditions of your eligible visa

  • You must meet health and character requirements

WHAT THIS VISA ALLOWS YOU TO DO

  • Live, work and study in Australia indefinitely

  • Travel to and from Australia during the validity of the travel facility of the visa

  • Access Australia's health care scheme - Medicare. You may find information about Medicare eligibility at Services Australia website.

  • Sponsor eligible relatives to come to Australia

  • Apply for Australian citizenship, if eligible.

First Instalment

Base visa application charge for a Subclass 191 visa in the Regional Provisional Stream is of AUD505.00​.

Additional applicant charge for those who are 18 or over is of AUD250.00

Additional applicant charge for those under 18 is of AUD130.00​
