GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

You must be able to demonstrate a globally recognised track record of exceptional and outstanding achievement in one of the following fields: professional expertise, sporting excellence, creative arts, research and academia.

You must be able to demonstrate that you will be able to find work or independently establish yourself in Australia

You must have Functional English or pay the second instalment of the visa application charge

You must be nominated by an eligible individual or organisation in Australia with a national reputation in your area

You must lodge an Expression of Interest (EOI) and be invited to apply for the visa

You must meet health and character requirements
-
You must apply for the visa within 60 days from the date you are invited to apply for the visa

If you are under 18 years old, or 55 years or older when you apply for the visa, you must be of exceptional benefit to the Australian community
WHAT THIS VISA ALLOWS YOU TO DO

Live, work and study in Australia indefinitely

Travel to and from Australia during the validity of the travel facility of the visa

FEES AND CHARGES

Government Visa Application Charges
First Instalment
Base visa application charge for a Subclass 858 visa is of AUD4,985.00.
Additional applicant charge for those who are 18 or over is of AUD2,495.00
Additional applicant charge for those under 18 is of AUD1,250.00
Second Instalment
Applicants 18 and over without Functional English: AUD4,890.00
