VISITOR VISAS

Visitor visas allow people to travel to Australia for tourism, visiting family or friends, or certain business activities. Depending on your purpose of visit and nationality, you may be eligible for a Subclass 600 Visitor Visa, an eVisitor (Subclass 651), or an Electronic Travel Authority (Subclass 601). These visas generally allow stays of up to three, six, or twelve months but do not permit paid work. The right visa for you will depend on your circumstances, length of stay, and passport country.
